Luna
shortfilm 10’
“An old frustrated writer, living lonely and sorrowful, encounters the appearance of a mysterious cat that makes him face his devastating past whilst turning everything upside down.”
"Luna" is a 3D animated short film that we embarked on during my third year of college, and ever since, we've passionately pursued its production independently, even after graduating and working in other studios. It's my debut piece, a vessel containing countless memories and lessons—the experience that has left the most indelible mark and taught me the most, especially about life, cinema, resilience, and mental health.
To convey everything it holds would require an entire book! In essence, navigating this journey has been thrilling. We’ve cried, we’ve laughed, we’ve lived our little humans lives during more than 5 years and despite all the obstacles, we will NEVER stop until the project is completed. That's a life promise.
Delving into the specifics of my roles wouldn't make much sense because, beyond directing, Emma and I have shaped the cinematography and art of the project. We've overseen various departments and, alongside an extensive team of over 80 individuals, actively collaborated in every aspect.
